Angela Cifone, Ph.D.Reproductive Psychology Angela Cifone, PhD. is a Columbia University trained clinical psychologist who completed two additional years of post-doctoral training in couple and family therapy at the Post Graduate Center for Mental Health. She specializes in all emotional aspects of infertility, providing psychological counseling and treatment to individuals and couples struggling with the dilemmas infertility, including all aspects of ART, oocyte and sperm donation as well as the evaluation of donors and gestation carriers. She is a former member of the Executive Board of RESOLVE, NYC, and served as the Outreach Coordinator providing workshops and conferences where she has also been a guest speaker. She has spoken on various aspects of infertility including donor conception. She has been a member of the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and is on the Affiliate Staff Member of the Lenox Hill Hospital Department of Psychiatry in New York City. Dr. Cifone maintains a private practice in Manhattan.

Harry Fisch, M.D.Dr. Harry Fisch is a board certified urologist at Weill Cornell Medical College/NewYork Presbyterian Hospital and the Director of The Male Reproductive Center. He is one of the nation’s leaders in the diagnosis and treatment of men’s health issues aswell as sexuality and fertility problems in couples. Greta Hanna, M.D.Dr. Greta Hanna has been the head of the anesthesia group at the NYFI since 1993. Dr Hanna received her M.B., B.C.H., degree from Cairo University School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt in 1962. Her Internship in Anesthesiology was at Chase –Farm Medical Center in Middlesex, UK. Afterwards, she completed her Residency in Anesthesiology at University of London, Middlesex, UK in 1973. She was a Senior Resident in Anesthesiology in University of Western Ontario, Canada in 1976. Dr Hanna finished a Fellowship in Advanced Anesthesiology techniques at the New York Hospital for Joint Disease in 1978. Dr. Hanna is a member of the American Society for Anesthesiology, and has served in the tri-state area for the past 25 years as one of the most experienced office anesthesiologists. |

Working in conjunction with some of New York and California’ s leading reproductive endocrinologists, she has achieved remarkable clinical success in fertility. Angela is licensed in New York and California, and as a Doctor of Acupuncture in the state of Rhode Island, Angela is certified by the American Boardof Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). She is also a member of the AmericanSociety of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Resolve, the American Association ofOriental Medicine (AAOM), the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), the California State Oriental Medication Association, and the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Alliance (AOMA). |

Eli Lizza, M.D.Male Reproduction Dr. Lizza is certified by the American Board of Urology. A graduate of UMD-New Jersey Medical School, he trained at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and at West Virginia University. He completed a post graduate fellowship in Male Infertility and Microsurgery at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Lizza has authored numerous articles and chapters on male infertility and erectile dysfunction. He holds appointments at Lenox Hill Hospital, the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cabrini Medical Center, and University Hospital in Newark, where he is the Director of Male Infertility. Dr. Lizza has personally performed over 2,000 microsurgical procedures in the problems of infertility and erectile dysfunction, areas in which he has special expertise. |

Dr. Andrew Y. SilvermanDr. Silverman graduated from medical school and simultaneously completed a doctorate in microbiology at the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY. He then completed a year of medical internship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Silverman was selected to serve as a research associate at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health. He then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McGill University in Montreal Canada. Dr. Silverman served as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas in San Antonio. He developed a keen interest in reproductive health issues and decided to pursue subspecialty training in reproductive endocrinology. Upon completion of his training, he served as Director of the In-Vitro Fertilization program there. Since 1984, Dr. Silverman has been in private practice in Manhattan and his practice is limited to gynecology and fertility. |

Nina Tager, M.D.Reproductive Psychiatry Dr. Nina Tager graduated from Brown University and studied medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in psychiatry. In the penultimate year of her training, Dr. Tager served as chief resident of the outpatient division of psychiatry. During her final year of residency, she was awarded the role of Adminsitrative Chief and supervised recruitment of future residents. After graduation, Dr. Tager joined the psychopharmacalogic group of Klein/Leibowitz, affiliated with Columbia University. Currently in private practice, Dr. Tager combines psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. She has specialized in treating reproductive disorders of women and was a founding member of the Women’s Mental Health Consortium, a group dedicated to the study and understanding of mental health issues related to reproductive disorders. Dr. Tager is on the planning committee for the upcoming symposium: Clinical and Developmental Implications of Assisted Reproduction Technology. She has been a consultant to the New York Fertility Institute for the past five years. In an effort to expand her understanding of the life cycle issues, Dr. Tager is currently studying infant/toddler development at Columbia University. She is a member of Resolve, APA, and AMWA. |

Yan Wu, L.Ac., M.B./ B.S., M.S.Oriental Medicine Dr. Yan Wu, an associated professor of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the former Chairman of the Oriental Medicine Department of Pacific College (New York), is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist and the Director of HuaTuo Oriental Medicine Center in New York. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicinefrom Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1970 and he received his Master’ s of Medical Science in 1981. Dr. Wu is a diplomat of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He is the authorand co-author of numerous published articles and books. Dr. Wu is a member of China Acupuncture Association, China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and American Acupuncture Association. He has lectured on acupuncture for many years,including at the New York Botanical Garden. Dr. Wu is currently doing clinical researchon infertility using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. |
